Gingger started LG+R for music productions on all the films and commercials she works on. She is a singer/double violinist/songwriter who has composed on films such as Mel Gibson's 'The Passion of The Christ', Sundance Award Winner 'Circumstance' and 'Charlie Wilson's War'. She's the only female in the world that plays the double violin, which covers the entire orchestra range. In 2012 she was chosen as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s ‘25 New Faces to Watch’, as well as becoming a member of the Advisory Board for the Sundance Film Festival along with Mark Ruffalo, Lake Bell, Rashida Jones and others. She debuted at Carnegie Hall as a soprano in Osvaldo Golijov’s opera “Ainadamar” and also toured with the Smashing Pumpkins on their 20th Anniversary tour. Her favorite things are making lists, making noise and time traveling.
Ramprasad Sundar - SOUND DESIGNER/MIXER/COMPOSER
Ramprasad Sundar is a Sound Designer, Mixer and Composer who has been writing music and editing Sound for Films and TV since 2009 both in Hollywood and India. Fluent with Sound Editing, Mixing (Surround) in multiple formats and music composing, he also teaches music and sound to students around the globe. He has worked on several sound design and surround sound mixing projects including Bradford Young's installation piece 'Funk God Jazz and Medicine'. He has worked with Mali Elfman, Anisa Qureshi, Santosh Sivan, Mandolin U. Srinivas, Shankar Mahadevan and Ilayaraja to mention a few people.
When he isn't working on a project, he is probably thinking about the next project and/or writing music scores...in short, he never stops working..
John Wentz - MARKETING / SALES
John considers himself a "Jack of all trades, and aspiring master of a few things" both in music and life in general. In addition to his role at LG+R, he is the resident tubist (and proofreader) in the experimental punk band This Way to the Egress. His own music—penned and published as Argyle Johansen—has been heard on TV series such as Showtime's Californication and MTV's True Life.
John is also an avid bicycle commuter, builder of various things, and is currently endeavoring to learn as many Primus bass lines on his tuba as humanly possible.
Alistair South - MUSIC EDITOR
Allistair a Music Editor who was born in Oxford, England and now works out of his studio in Topanga, California. Alistair has been music editing for films since 2008 and has worked with such composers as Rolfe Kent, Danny Elfman, Kim Carroll, Gingger Shankar, and Michael Penn. Alistair is best known for his work on 'That Evening Sun', 'Dose of Reality' and 'California State of Mind'. He has also assisted on films including 'Up in the Air', 'Killers' and 'The Men Who Stare at Goats'.
When Alistair isn't cutting music, you can find him sailing the seas of cheese.
